The Oklahoma School Plant Management Association and The State Department of Education is jointly sponsoring The 32nd Annual Conference.  It will be held at the Western Hills Guest Ranch, Sequoyah State Park on Lake Fort Gibson, Sept. 30, Oct. 1 & 2, 2009.  The first day is the golf tournament with post golf tournament cookout and awards.

 

The Safety Programs are being offered again this year. They have been revised and updated.  For more information, click onto the Safety Program section of this website.

 

The annual Turf Grass Management & Hot Water Vessels Workshop will be held February 18, 2009.   The agenda and registration form is located on the Special Seminars and Workshops section of this website. 

 

The Annual Maintenance Training Seminars are currently scheduled for June 9, 2009, at High Plains Technology Center, 3921 34th Street, Woodward, OK 73801,  June 11, 2009, at Canadian Valley Technology Center, 1401 Michigan Avenue, Chickasha, OK 73036,   and June 16, 2009, at Tri County Technology Center, 6101 Southeast Nowata Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006. 

 

 

The Jim Shields Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament will again be held in conjunction with the fall convention.  The tournament will be held at the Sequoyah Golf Course, (8 miles East of Wagoner on SH-51),  September 30, 2009, at 8:00 a.m. Proceeds, after expenses, pay for the annual scholarships awarded to members’ worthy senior  children.  The deadline for this year’s application is June 1, 2009.  Applications are now available.  For more scholarship information, click onto the Scholarship section of this website.

 Oklahoma School Plant Management Association (OSPMA) is an organization committed to helping you, the facilities professional, to create, support and maintain an environment conducive for educational excellence.  Throughout the school year, we provide several workshops to train your staff members on establishing and maintaining a safe, clean and service oriented atmosphere with the highest level of professionalism.

OSPMA recognizes school plant operations as a vital function of the educational process.  A superior plant operation program is a must in order to provide our community of learners the best possible academic and participatory skills.  It enables them to become valued, contributing members of a changing global society.
 
I would like to invite you and your staff to become an active member of our organization by registering for the OSPMA 2009 Fall Convention.  Membership forms may be obtained from any of the Board of Directors .  We are here for our children and take pride in education.
